The summer is officially coming to an end, with the end of summer holidays and the kids going back to school. Not that it’s cooling off much as yet with another sweltering week in prospect.
It often seems to me that Moon Festival signifies the move into Autumn, however as it was early this year, we will have to wait for a few more weeks at least. And the heat means we are still at risk of a typhoon, and lo, Fung Wong cometh. It doesn’t look like it is going to make typhoon strength, but a tropical storm can still cause havoc so we will be keeping a close eye on its progress.
In Taiwan news, there will be the first ever “tsunami siren” sounded around the island this (Friday September 19th) morning at 11am. There will be no traffic restrictions as with the air raid warnings.
In site news, we are aware of a couple of bugs due to a software upgrade, and we are working to fix them as soon as we can. We would also be grateful if you could let us know if you spot any problems. [Contact]
Thanks again for reading, have a great week, and if you have any feedback or comments, please get in touch.
